Maid in Cuba

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Bacardi white rum
• 0.75 oz lime juice
• 0.5 oz simple syrup (2:1)
• Cucumber slices
• Mint leaves
• Dashes of absinthe
• Garnish: mint and cucumber

Steps

   Place coupe glass in freezer to chill.

   Add cucumber slices and mint leaves into shaker and muddle.

3. 3

   Add simple syrup, lime juice, and rum and shake briefly with block ice to minimize dilution.

   Add dashes of absinthe to chilled coupe glass and leave in the glass.

   Fine-strain the cocktail into the coupe glass and top with soda.

   Garnish with mint and cucumber.
